Questi, però, sono ancora i primi passi.

La giovanile che voglio io, oltre ad essere grande e partecipata deve essere anche autonoma .
Credo che nessuno dei giovani che si sta impegnando nella creazione di questa organizzazione si nasconda che sarà legata a doppio filo al Partito Democratico. Non possiamo immaginare di non riunirci nelle sedi del PD, di non avere i nostri stand alle feste dell’Unità (o come si chiameranno) e, fatto non secondario, non possiamo dimenticare che i fondi del PD saranno anche nostri.

Noi giovani per primi dobbiamo farci latori di strumenti di comunicazione e di coordinamento nuovi , che sono disponibili grazie alle nuove tecnologie e che sta solo a noi sfruttare.
Sul sito www.partitodemocraticoveneto.org è comparso un sondaggio che evidenziava il fatto che i giovani veneti al 44% si informino di politica grazie ad internet .
Di fronte ad un dato così lampante, che riguarda proprio la fascia a cui noi ci dovremo rivolgere , non possiamo permetterci di far finta di non vedere e di continuare ad usare il web poco e il più delle volte come una vetrina, priva di interazione da parte degli utenti.
É significativo il fatto che, prima dell’organizzazione stessa, sia nato un network nazionale di coordinamento ( www.fermentidemocratici.ilcannocchiale.it ) su internet.
A prima vista può sembrare di scarsa importanza, ma è democratico anche questo.

Il secondo motivo che mi spinge ad auspicare la nascita di un’organizzazione giovanile del PD è più “politico”.

Last Saturday, as Committee "October 14" , we organized a raccolta firme per i candidati alla segreteria del PD.
Per la cronaca, abbiamo raccolto 48 firme in due ore, con un clima che più antipolitico non si può, dove la frase che più mi sentivo ripetere era "non mi interessa".
A questo appuntamento ho invitato anche un amico, giovane iscritto all'Italia dei Valori, con il quale condivido l'auspicio di una futura confluenza nel Partito Democratico del soggetto di Di Pietro.
Mentre distribuiva i volantini, Giovanni, questo è il suo nome, rimaneva fedele al cavallo di battaglia legalitario del suo partito, a quei valori di rispetto delle regole che dovranno essere alla base del Partito Democratico, per dargli fondamenta forti.
Come si sarà sentito Giovanni nel sentire che il leader del suo partito, di un ex magistrato, che ha fatto del rispetto della legge una professione prima e un impegno poi, ha provato a scardinare non solo le regole in senso stretto del Partito Democratico, ma anche quelle del vivere comune e del buon senso ?
Come si può pensare di poter entrare dalla porta principale se fino a poco prima non solo su quella porta si pisciava, ma da fuori si gridavano anche insulti a chi stava dentro?
Di Pietro ha provato ad entrare da quella porta, e ci ha provato anche di notte, proprio come i ladruncoli di bassa lega, come chi si vantava di combattere.
